Lighting Design for Swiss Artists for Smiling Gecko 2015
On 23 September 2015, the Swiss Artists for Smiling Gecko benefit concert took place at Zurich’s Hallenstadion. Gölä, Gotthard, Pegasus and Seven waived their fees and performed for 9,500 music fans in support of families living in poverty in Cambodia.
The event raised CHF 507,348. A symbolic cheque was presented to Hannes Schmid, the Swiss photographer and founder of the Smiling Gecko aid organisation. The participating companies and organisers also contributed their work without compensation.
Commissioned by Habegger AG, I was responsible for the Lighting Design and worked as DoP to ensure its camera ready implementation. Together with my team, I managed the Lighting Operating on site.
