Lighting Design for Samsung at MWC 2014

For the Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona, I was once again responsible for the Lighting Design of Samsung’s exhibition presence.

A defining design element was the use of semi-transparent wall surfaces animated by integrated LED strips. Diffuse, daylight-like illumination from the front enhanced their long-distance visibility and revealed the different layers of the construction.

Cubes with mirrored interiors were suspended above the central product highlights. They reflected the light, the products and parts of the exhibition space, adding further spatial accents.
