Lighting Design for Dyckerhoff at Bautec 2000
For the exhibition presence of building materials manufacturer Dyckerhoff at Bautec 2000, I developed the Lighting Design.
The exhibition hall could not be darkened. At the same time, the lighting had to be realised without a conventional rig above the booth. A supported ring was therefore integrated into the exhibition design. Specially developed adapters allowed the fixtures to be mounted directly to this structure.
Due to the high ambient brightness, the Lighting Design focused on the precise presentation of the products, the central bar and the show stage. The highlighted exhibits included large stelae made from different types of concrete and suspended freely in the space by steel cables.
Commissioned by Helicon, I was responsible for the complete Lighting Design of the exhibition booth.
