Associate Lighting design for Audis dealership conference

Guests of Audi were invited to Berlin’s “Kraftwerk” for an evening event. COLD managed various speaking segments, entertainment acts, and product presentations. In keeping with the venue’s cool, industrial ambiance, the staging was kept minimal, with all design elements limited to shades of white and gold. The focus was on deliberately restrained lighting and concentrating on just a few, but very clear, accents. The lighting primarily receded into the background behind the video installations. The goal was to allow the room’s size to be perceived without staging it in a way that drew undue attention to it. The overall brightness was coordinated with the existing table lighting provided by candles.
