Lighting design for the “Art on Ice” tour

The central figure of the show “Time to Time” is Ashley, the stage manager. He stands out even before the show begins, meticulously checking and verifying that everything is functioning correctly. Along the way, he encounters the occasional mishap, but Ashley is a professional and always finds a solution. He knows the show’s procedures inside out and knows exactly what needs to be done… or so he thinks…

The show begins, and everything seems to be going according to plan. But suddenly, a system error brings everything to a halt… Ashley is left helpless in the face of the situation… what could have happened? A mysterious voice tells Ashley not to worry; the show hasn’t been destroyed, but merely catapulted into a different time and dimension. The apparent catastrophe is actually an invitation. Ashley is encouraged to follow his heart, view the unexpected as an adventure, and let his imagination become reality…

A beautiful woman in a red dress appears; she doesn’t seem to belong in this crazy new world—or perhaps she does? Ashley is enchanted and wants to follow her…

A wondrous journey begins, and Ashley discovers a completely different side—not just of his show, but of himself. Ashley confronts his own self, including the shortcomings, doubts, and mistakes he carries deep within his heart.

The woman in the red dress becomes a symbol of the courage Ashley showed in facing this adventure, as well as the love he so longingly seeks… In the end, Ashley realizes that true love must be free.

COLD was responsible for the lighting design, managed the pre-programming, and provided the lighting camera and LX operating teams for both the tour and the TV recording. The entire show was pre-programmed in a 3D studio within two weeks.
