Lighting design for BMW’s i3 world premiere

The Berlin-based agency BlueScope created the i3 world premiere for BMW this summer. The vehicle’s reveal took place simultaneously at three events in New York, London, and Beijing. The locations were connected via a live video link. On behalf of BlueScope, COLD oversaw the initial development of a lighting concept for all locations, which was then adapted by the on-site teams in accordance with the specific conditions and availability in each market. For the London location, COLD created the lighting design and was on site to ensure camera-ready lighting and handle the LX operating.
